Family Corner
Jeff & Kerrie, with their two little ladies, and our many, many stuffed animal pals; long ago decided to put their family first, and to do their best to "train up a child in the way they should go." Sometimes that means finding alternatives to what other families do, from movies to watch, games to play, and other entertainment; to choosing to homeschool our littles; to sometimes just spontaneously going on the adventure, and seeing what's out there.

Every homeschool family’s journey looks different; that’s what we love and value about the homeschool community!
Jeff and Kerrie both love to learn, and love travel, new experiences, and building meaningful community. Both of us wanted that for our family every day, not just on weekends. We also felt strongly, as Believers, that there was a call for us to cultivate our kids in every area of their lives; and that’s very difficult to do if there are big chunks of the day away from us for mainstream education.
Kerrie is a second generation homeschooler and feels like her experience gave her an advantage in life overall, not just in an academics. Jeff grew up in a small private school, then typical public schools, and liked that we could personalize education for each of our kids and really tailor it to them, so as to give them opportunities they wouldn’t have in “normal” school.
We love homeschooling and the experiences, opportunities, and memories we’ve lived because we chose do run school from home, wherever home might be.
